Mysfit The Lostboy is a published Author and Poet/ Spoken word Artist who was bred in the grit of Baltimore City’s west side. Thriving through the ruins of a shattered family life, he has always harbored hope in his heart. Often time’s he would hide himself in closets to drown out the sounds of the outside world, trying to figure out how he could write it more beautifully. If it were through singing, writing fictional stories or, reciting poetry, he’s always had the intention to share an uplifting message. His poetry is reflective of the complexity of reality and mirrored images that everyone is able to see themselves in. His focus is the obstacles of life and the different methods that we take as imperfect individuals, trying to overcome them. Inspired by the human journey of discovering true joy in this existence he takes on the pain and pens it to paper. With hopes that his work will bring about an awakening and encompass a bit of healing for anyone who’s reading or listening, he continues writing with the hearts of all humanity in mind.
