Following the contour of the young black feminine experience artist, Imani Shanklin Roberts paints every stroke with her identity. Inspired by the beauty and evolution of her journey, Imani hopes to open the thoughts of her viewers. She was born in Washington D.C. and is currently a prospective BFA/MFA student at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Her goals are to grow as an artist and eventually become an art educator.
